British Council
At RAPP, I worked on the Alumni UK campaign for the British Council, a global network connecting international students and graduates who studied at UK universities or completed UK qualifications. Launched in 2022, the platform brings together alumni from around the world through community, networking and career opportunities.
I explored how colour, movement and composition could create a sense of rhythm and energy in just a few seconds, especially for mobile audiences where attention spans are very short. One of the key focuses was making the animation flexible and adaptable across different types of content while maintaining a strong and consistent visual identity.
I also wanted the motion to feel purposeful rather than overly decorative, so the transitions and pacing were designed to guide the viewer’s attention clearly through the intro and outro moments.
For the intro and outro animations, I wanted to create something visually bold, energetic and instantly recognisable within the British Council brand world. The concept was built around strong block colours and geometric compositions inspired by the brand guidelines and the British colour palette, while still feeling modern and digital-first for social platforms.
